Armani Privé S/S 2015 Thank you, Armani. This is just the right way to apply authentic Chinese elements in fashion design. The water ink and bamboo elements are portrayed mildly so the impression is elegant. Today some Chinese designers are so aggressive to make a fame in global fashion that they excessively use the color bright red/yellow/purple/golden and elements like qipao(cheongsam) or blue and white porcelain. Also they exaggerate the outlines of clothes, and pile up embroidery or patterns. I feel they are just trying too hard. They have been creating stereotypes of Chinese fashion( you can find examples on 2015 Met Gala). Apparently, Armani has a better understanding of Chinese fashion than they do. It is unassuming, never boastful.
