Shilin Stone Forest, China
Part of the South China Karst, Shilin or ‘Stone Forest is a remarkable set of limestone formations in Yunnan Province, believed to be more than 270 million years old. Towering peaks and rocks rise from the ground, many looking like petrified trees and creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. (Source)
